I have a very quick audio newsletter for you today. I was thinking about what I wanted to discuss, and as much as I would like to talk about the peaches and the cream and all of the sweet things, I do want to bring to your attention as we close out q one of 2024. I really wanna talk about how this year is going to require more. It's gonna require more. And the reason I wanna have this conversation with you is because we are, you know, the one of some one of the reasons that things aren't working, how we prefer for them to work is because we're doing the same old thing.

Audria Richmond®:

So, you know, back in the day we were told, hey, you need to post this many pieces of content or you need to send this many emails or you need to send, you know, you need to do this many launches and you need to do this and this. And there were always these formulas around when you should do something, how frequently you should do do something, when you should start and stop doing something, when is a good time to do something. And the truth of the matter is this is the year of more. Why more? Because more than any time than ever, people are extremely distracted with so many opportunities.

Audria Richmond®:

And oftentimes when you are when you have so many things to do, you don't know what to do. Right? It's like, oh, I was told I could do this. I was told I could do that. Like, which one should I be focused on?

Audria Richmond®:

And so I was talking to my accountant, as well as some of my friends. And one of the things that we've been discussing privately is that the old stuff don't work no more. And what do what do you mean, Audrey, when you say the old stuff? What I mean is it's not just about doing the work, it's about being the work. Yes.

Audria Richmond®:

More is required, but it's also about being excellent. Let me explain. Not only do you have to do more, but you actually have to be great. People are sick and tired of average experiences, average products, average services. And so if they are going to muster up any type of money and spend it with your business, it has to be excellent.

Audria Richmond®:

It has to be worthwhile. People can literally chat g p t a basic thing. If they're gonna come across you, your brand, your product or your service and whatever you stand for, for them it has to mean something. So when I say this is the year of more, I what I'm essentially saying is this is the year of better content. This is the year of better lead magnets.

Audria Richmond®:

This is the year of better launches. This is the year of better brand positioning. This is the year of better branding. And this is the year of spending money on advertising. A lot of you all are not being seen or noticed how you would like is because you're not putting yourself in front of enough new people.

Audria Richmond®:

If you put yourself in front of the same 100, 200, maybe even a couple thousand people over and over and over and over. You do not diversify. By bringing new people into your atmosphere, who don't know who you are, who don't know what you stand for. If you're not constantly putting yourself in front of new people, how do you supposed to grow your brand and business? So I definitely want you all to spend more time and energy on putting your brand out there, from an advertising perspective.

Audria Richmond®:

And the best way to put your brand out there in front of new people is to launch. I don't have to go down this whole rabbit hole about launching. You all hear me talk about this over and over and over, but what I will say in closing is that if you are overwhelmed by the basics in business, you are counting yourself out prematurely because things are going to get harder. People are going to question more. People are going to be sus he's gonna be like, hey, this kind of suspect.

Audria Richmond®:

I don't know if I should or shouldn't. So right now we have to show people that they can trust us. We have to show people that we are great. We have to show people that we are the obvious choice for to for us to be chosen to serve them. So I told you this would be a quick audio newsletter.

Audria Richmond®:

I just wanted to pop in and let you know that this year is more. Whatever I whatever I said today that resonated with you where you feel like, okay, I do need to spend more time on my content, making my content better. I do need to get better at creating my lead magnets or create a lead magnet. I need a way for people to get in contact with me. I do need to get better with my launches or if you haven't launched before, now I need the launch.
