Redefining Results

Audria Richmond®:

Welcome to UnCloned® Insider. My name is Audria Richmond®, and I am your marketing and launch strategist. If you are new here, hello. And if you are returning, what's up? And today, we're gonna be talking about redefining results.

Audria Richmond®:

And the reason we're gonna be talking about this is because I recently had a group coaching call with my unclone marketing members, and we were talking about, like, brand awareness and, like, do people know you? Right? I think this is notion that, hey. If I show up on social media every day, people are going to know me and they're gonna buy from me. And that is so, like, far from the truth.

Audria Richmond®:

And so I wanna talk about my billboard experience and, like, what that meant to me. So when I initially found out about how to create a billboard, and we're gonna talk about that later on in the, newsletter audio newsletter here. We're gonna talk about how you can actually sign up and learn how to do that. But I wanna talk about my billboard experience. So what first off, when you think about a billboard, you immediately think 1,000 and 1,000 and 1,000 of dollars.

Audria Richmond®:

Like that's something that just immediately, come into your head when you think about getting a billboard. Right? And so when I saw the opportunity to get a billboard, I thought it was gonna be a very expensive. And then once I, like, you know, started navigating through the site, I was like, woah. This cost just like Facebook ads.

Audria Richmond®:

It could work, just like Facebook ads. So, I went through the process of setting up the billboard. And to be honest with you, I thought the whole entire process was fake. I was like, ain't no way humanly possible I am going to be able to get a billboard for the cost of a Facebook ad. It just, you know, couldn't it it blew my mind.

Audria Richmond®:

So I went through the process of selecting the billboards that I wanted to be on and uploading my artwork and really just getting you know, really just trying to understand it. And one of the things that was fascinating about this was how fast it got approved and how fast I was able to, like, hop in the car with my husband and, like, go see it in real life. And I'm just gonna be honest with you. It really made me start to think about the power of brand awareness. I think when you are are small business owners, you're not thinking about brand awareness campaigns.

Audria Richmond®:

We are typically doing lead generation campaigns. We want the client now. We want people to buy from us right now. And so the thing with brand awareness campaigns is about making impressionable, moment in someone's brain on repeat. So when they see anything that's a reflection of your brand, they know exactly that is you.

Audria Richmond®:

Right? It's the same thing with Apple. It's the same thing with McDonald's. It's the same thing with, Nike or any other major brand. And I I always have believed that, small business ownership operate big.

Audria Richmond®:

I think the idea of small business made people think small, so they tend to play small. And I don't necessarily subscribe to that. So I'm always, challenging the norms. That's what being a clown is about, you know, challenging the norms and doing something different. And one of the things that I learned during my billboard experience was like, this is a long term game.

Audria Richmond®:

This is not something where, you know, you throw up something and you immediately get leads, clients, and customers. And if some of you all are thinking like, okay. Just get to the results. Tell me how many calls you got, how many texts you got, blah blah blah. I got a few text messages, but it really wasn't about that.

Audria Richmond®:

And that's what I learned after I had, you know after the all of the excitement died down, I really sat down and asked myself, like, hey. What is the actual purpose of the billboard? And when I started to do my research, you know, billboards are really just meant to be around brand awareness. Yes. They can serve as a call to action when you do them over an extended period of time.

Audria Richmond®:

But for the most part, billboards are just meant for people to be aware and unnoticed on, like, who you are. Right? And so when I went through that billboard experience, it made me think about my marketing campaigns a little bit differently. It made me think about when I see Apple or when I see a low like, when I see a a marketing campaign and there's, like, no website, there's no, call to action, there's no phone number, nothing. You just see the brand.

Audria Richmond®:

And I now understand why that's so important because, you know, when you think about I I would just say the local lawyers. Right? They understand this. They understand that if you see their name enough, you would think about them when you need them. If you see their brand enough, you would think about them when you see you know, when when you need them.

Audria Richmond®:

And the same thing with their commercials and everything else. But it's something about small business owners that, like, if we don't get an immediate ROI, we're just not messing with it. We're like, nah. Ain't fooling with that. And so one of the things that I really wanna kinda bring to your attention is that nobody knows you, just like nobody knows me.

Audria Richmond®:

You know? Yes. People know us from, you know, what we do on social media. But when we think about, like, our brand on a worldwide scale, on a global scale, there's still billions of people who don't know you exist. They don't know how dope you are.

Audria Richmond®:

They don't know how amazing your brand is. And so to operate as if it's not your job to put people on notice of your existence is kinda selfish. You know what I mean? And that's something that I kind of want to, expound upon because I feel like when you understand that, that's when you can really take off with your business. And so I want you all to redefine what results mean for you.

Audria Richmond®:

Results don't always mean a sale. Results don't always mean an email subscriber or Instagram follower. Like, a result could be making an impression and making making sure that people become aware of you. It could be someone telling a friend about you and you don't even know it and that friend pops up and do business with you. I recently, enrolled, 2 mastermind members in, you know, it was a significant, you know, 5 figure investment.

Audria Richmond®:

And I just want you guys to know that that came from someone being aware of my brand and thinking about me and saying, hey. You should go check out Ardurah Richmond. And that person went and did their research and did their due diligence and Googled me and found out things about me. So when we talk about our business, we really need to redefine what results mean and understand that we are, you know, running a marathon. We're not sprinting.

Audria Richmond®:

You know, trying to build a legacy in 3 months or 6 months or 12 months, it's just not possible. When you look at the legacy of some of the top people like Oprah, and Kobe, it's one of those things where you you understand that your your legacy is everything. You know, most of these people have been in the game 20 plus years. You know, 30 plus years, 40 plus years. And to think that you're gonna get the same, you know, level of authority overnight is insane.

Audria Richmond®:

And so I really want you to take a moment this month to redefine what results mean for you and rethink about, how you want to be perceived in the marketplace. And, you know, this is Black History Month, And so I want you to celebrate being awesome. Celebrate your excellence. Celebrate what you stand for. What what it means to why you do what you do.

Audria Richmond®:

Like, get very clear on that and talk about that. So I'm really excited, about this newsletter because I know that it's going to help some of you all. It really help you take a step back and say, okay. What do these results mean to me? What else is what are other KPIs?

Audria Richmond®:

Key performing indicators if you don't know what KPIs are. What are some other key performing indicators that I can track and measure in my business to say that I'm successful? So for me, I don't always just track sales and money and things like that as a way of success. I'm tracking what I'm getting done. I'm tracking, you know, what type of systems and automation I'm I'm just 12 years in the game.

Audria Richmond®:

Right? And so when you think about someone who's been doing this like a legendary person, they got, like, 25, 30, 40, 50 years. And so I'm on a mission to continue my legacy. And, you know, I just wish that people would get out of this mindset of, okay. I'm gonna invest in a coach, and I want an immediate ROI in 3 months.

Audria Richmond®:

I mean, obviously, you should get an ROI, but an ROI doesn't always mean getting your money back. It could be you getting clarity. It could be you understanding what to do and what not to do. It could be positioning you in a place where you can save money. It could be, putting you in a room to be able to network and meet new people that you wouldn't otherwise be exposed to.

Audria Richmond®:

So I think, again, it's a great time. We're still early in the year to redefine what results mean to you and what kind of results you want and how to, again, track and measure those things. Now I do wanna let you guys know that we are in the process of creating, a masterclass. It's in this email. So, it's in the, the written part of this email.
