Q1 Recap + What’s Working Now with Our Marketing?

Audria Richmond®:How are you all doing? I did not want to end the day without giving you your audio newsletter today. I had a VIP day, which was freaking awesome. And when I got back home, I was a little bit tired, but I was just like, you know what? I still got to get this audio newsletter out.
Audria Richmond®:Okay. So shout out to all our people that are super consistent. But anyhoo, as I was thinking, as I was sitting here thinking about like what I wanted to talk about, I was like, man, it would be a great time to really recap Q1 and share with you what's working now with us as it relates to our marketing. Because I think if I do that, that'll give you some context to maybe, you know, what you might want to focus on. And so before I get into our Q one recap, and what's working now with our marketing, I do have a question for you.

Audria Richmond®:So Q1, Q1, '20 '20 '5 baby. It was a lot. A lot of great things happen and a lot of sad things happen. I mean, starters, we welcomed, the dude, I'm just going call him the dude, into the office. And I just feel like from like this, this entire year has just been centered around chaos.
Audria Richmond®:People are losing jobs. Natural disasters are happening all over the world. It's just, it was a lot happening from a political, social, economic, like everything. So it was a lot, it's a lot been going on. So I'm just going to share with you what Q1 was for me, this year and really speak to what's working.
Audria Richmond®:Cause one thing we can't do as business owners is quit. We cannot start shrinking and hiding. I know one of the things that I noticed is that people who were super hype last year came into this year really down in the dumps. A lot of people did not keep their commitments. A lot of people were cool with quitting or pivoting or shutting down.
Audria Richmond®:And let me tell you something. When chaos is happening, it is so easy to think that it's time to quit. And I will tell you right now, now is not the time to quit because if you if you allow what's happening to make you quit now, you will quit when it's, you know, you'll quit anytime. This is this is this is when real entrepreneurs like survive, right? And the ones who can't handle the heat, the pressure, or whatever you want to call it, they don't survive, right?
Audria Richmond®:Like they're not going to be entrepreneurs. And let me just be honest with you. Being an entrepreneur is hard as hell. I was watching a video on YouTube about this girl. She was complaining about running her business and she was like, you know, this is super hard.
Audria Richmond®:I've been a business owner for two years and I'm laughing in my head because I'm just like, two years, give me a, give me a break. What, what do you mean two years? Like girl, bye. Hell, it gets harder and harder than the longer you do it. And so if you can't, if you let something as simple as hard work or it takes a lot, you know, make you quit, then you're probably not built to be an entrepreneur and that's that on that.
Audria Richmond®:It never gets easier and every year you have to find a way to be relevant Every year you have to find a way to to make, you know, to be relevant. That's really what I'm trying to say. Like, got to be relevant. And so if you're quitting before you even get relevant, then you already lost the game. Another thing about entrepreneurship is like you have to have mental toughness every day.
Audria Richmond®:You will have a reason of why you don't want to quit. You will have a reason on why the task can wait, right? Like today, I'll use myself as an example. I was like, you know, I did the VIP day. I got back home, you know, normally when I do VIP days, take a lot of mental energy out of me and I was just like, okay, I'll wait.
Audria Richmond®:I'll do, you know, my video on Wednesday on YouTube and I was like, no, you're going do your audio newsletter, whether it's late or not. And so here we are. So you probably going to receive this in the 08:00, nine o'clock time PM, but I don't care because I stay consistent. And that's what I need you all to understand is that when you say you're going to say, when you say you're going to do something, if you can, if it's within your willpower push through, right? Like push through.
Audria Richmond®:Okay. So let's get into the recap and let's get into what's working now with our marketing. So number one, as far as the Q1 recap, we started the year off with Uncloned Brand Live, the winter edition. And just so you know, as an FYI, we do this virtual conference twice a year, every summer and every winter, at least that's how we tested it out. So we're now we're coming up on our summer edition of that virtual conference.
Audria Richmond®:The first time we ran it, it was freaking epic, but we have so many updates, improvements, giveaways, cool things that we're going to do for, for the one this summer because it's also my birthday weekend. Right. So we started the year off with Unclone Brand Live. That was epic success. I love the content.
Audria Richmond®:I love the people. I love the conversations. Everything about that virtual conference was just chef kiss. Now there were some changes that we made to the summer edition. If you want to know what those things were, you can go and check out the video on YouTube where I talk about, you know, what I learned after running my, three day virtual conference or whatever I say, you could just go and look it up on YouTube but we open a year up with that and then after that, we went into coach week which is where we spend one dedicated week coaching all of our private clients, our group coaching clients, well as our membership clients.
Audria Richmond®:And so whenever we are doing coach week, we go all in on serving our clients for five consecutive days. And sometimes there may be some weekend activities. It just depends. Right. And so right after you, right after Unclone Coach Week, we then go into our anniversary, my husband and I wedding anniversary, which was freaking cool up until my husband's birthday.
Audria Richmond®:My husband, birthday is on January 21 and like literally the next day his sister passed away. And so it was very bittersweet. Here we are celebrating this huge milestone of being married for twelve years. My husband is, you know, he's turning his next birthday age. And then literally the following day we're talking about, you know, the passing of his sister.
Audria Richmond®:And so we go immediately into funeral planning. And then, after we get back from planning the funeral, it's now time to, you know, get back on the grind. So then starting at the February, we go back into coach week, right after coach week. Well, right after the funeral, we come back home to Atlanta and we do coach week again, because around that time is coach week again. And then from there we go to Las Vegas to, to attend funnel hacking live.
Audria Richmond®:Then from funnel hacking live, we come right back. And we just start serving clients and catching up on calls from things that we had to reschedule and so I had to catch up on a lot of work, a lot of meetings, a lot of things like that and so I was just serving a lot of our private clients And so right after that, we're going now we're in March. Okay. Which is the month we're in now. It's only a few more days in this month before this Q one is over with.
Audria Richmond®:So for the month of March was a lot. March 1, we kicked off Unclone Marketing Pro Live, which is, you know, a new one day conference that we're testing out. I don't know if I'm going do it next year, but it's basically a one day conference where we teach people how to think about their marketing, how to hire, hire marketing people for their marketing. And it's also meant to be a platform for us to talk about our uncloned certification. So then we did that on March 1 and then we go right into coach week right after coach week.
Audria Richmond®:We go into doing a ton of coaching, meeting up with people. My good friend Casey, she hosted an event, her and her partner, they hosted an event here in Atlanta for, for a book, book club meetup, which was so much damn fun. I was able to catch up with my homegirl Tish for, for dinner. And then right after that, we went into hosting the lunch style masterclass, which was on March 13. And then we turned around and did an encore of that same webinar, on the sixteenth.
Audria Richmond®:And then from there, I still had a couple of VIP days. We did an opportunity hour meetup for those who own the opportunity hour system. Then we did the uncloned certification webinar, this past Thursday. And then today I had a VIP day. So as you can see, this first quarter been lit.
Audria Richmond®:So a bunch of meetings, a bunch of coach weeks, the funeral planning, event attending, catching up with friends, and a lot of lunches. And so that moves me into what actually worked, right? We did a lot. We did content. We did, we launched, we did YouTube videos, we ran Facebook ads, we nurtured our community.
Audria Richmond®:Like what are those top things that actually worked, right? So, the first thing that worked is running and nurturing our community. So, if you are not inside of our community, you are missing out big time, right? If you're one of those people who got removed because you weren't engaging, I really encourage you to come back and give it a try because the community is still engaged. We're still having fun.
Audria Richmond®:We're still having a good time. I'm still, even if people don't come in a group, I'm still consistent. So even if you want to get some business tips, business strategies, and you want to stay close to the fire, you should totally be a part of our community. Audria Richmond®:We do the YouTube videos on Wednesday And so the cool thing about the community is like a living pulse, right? Like '20 fourseven, we're in the community. So you definitely want to be a part of the community. If you want to stay close to the fire, you want to stay close to the knowledge, you want to stay close to the insight, you totally want to be a part of the Unclone community. Audria Richmond®:But nurturing and running our community is number one on the list. It's still it's still a lot of fun. We meet a lot of cool people. People are still joining the community and we're just having a really good time. The second thing that's working for us like Gamebusters is launching.
Audria Richmond®:Okay. If you do not have launching as a part of your marketing strategy and you have not launched at all this year, let me go ahead and just bust your bubble and tell you you've been on the, on the fence about, oh, should I launch? There's a lot going on in the world and this, that and the third child. Didn't do so many lunches. We didn't do like three lunches, this year, if I'm not mistaken.
Audria Richmond®:So I guess I wouldn't count Unclone Brand Live, but we did do the Unclone Marketing Pro event. We did the Launch Style Masterclass and we did a webinar. So yeah, I was right. Three launches. And what's cool about it is it's all working.
Audria Richmond®:So launches is a great way to bring people together to build authority and credibility, introduce what you have, nurture the community that you actually have, sell your products and services and just have fun. So if you're not launching, you're totally missing out. The next thing that's been working for us is YouTube videos. So one thing I hired someone to help us with our, YouTube videos. And one of the things that the YouTube person said was like, ma'am, you have a really good YouTube channel.
Audria Richmond®:You just need to create more content. So we're in the process of creating two new shows. One is going be called Unclone Brand and the next one is going to be called Launch Style Confidential, where I take people behind the scenes of the launches that's working for us and how that's working. So that's going be hella cool. So the third thing I said is YouTube videos.
Audria Richmond®:So we just need to do more YouTube videos. The next thing that's been working for us is our ads. We've been getting a crazy ROI on our ad spend. And so we definitely ready to ramp it up, for this next quarter. So this next quarter, coming into Q2, we're in the process of launching a brand new challenge.
Audria Richmond®:I'm still debating on whether or not I want it to be free or a fee. Because this challenge is something different. It's new. We haven't done this challenge before. It's called the obvious choice and it's so freaking it's going to be so good.
Audria Richmond®:Like so, so, so, so good. So, that's what we're working on next. And I think I'm just going to repeat that challenge up until, the conference, but that's essentially, you know, what we've been doing was working for us, but we're just staying close to the fire. You know, I will leave you with this. Do not quit.
Audria Richmond®:I see so many people quitting, shrinking, hiding, not doing, not, not doing what they say they're going to do, not keeping their word or their commitment. All you have in this world is your, is your commitment and the promises you tell in the, and this is another thing. The only person that get to hear it, hear how much you lie and put yourself down is you. So stop giving yourself the glory of that truth, right? Do something different in Q2.
