Lead Generation Blueprint: How to Generate Leads on Demand

So let's get into today's conversation, which is all about lead generation.
Audria Richmond®:So today's topic is called lead generation blueprint, how to generate leads on demand. And the reason I wanna say on demand is because a lot of the times when I'm working with entrepreneurs, we have so much emphasis on followers, you know, people leaving comments on your your content, and I'm all for engagement on social media. However, that should not be the thing you're tracking only. You should be tracking how many leads you're generating every single day. Right?
Audria Richmond®:It's not just about tracking how many followers you got, how many Instagram story views you got. It's about really looking at your data every single day and saying, how many leads did we generate today? How many people came came to our website, opted in for something, maybe booked a call or purchased something? Like, are you tracking that data? Because if you're not tracking it on a daily level, it's very easy to get lost in the sauce with where to focus.
Audria Richmond®:Right? And one of the things that we did a complete deep dive, right, at at the workshop is all about embracing being a CEO. We did an entire audio newsletter on embracing being the CEO. And so I think it's important for you all to realize and understand that your business you know, if you don't have any leads, you don't have any you don't have a business. If you're not getting people to get on an email list, if you're not nurturing an email list, if you're not, doing anything to attract people to give you their name, phone number, or email address, you are doing online marketing wrong.
Audria Richmond®:You're doing growing a business wrong. And so I like I said, we not playing. Right? So some of you all did not get a chance to join us at the 2025 annual planning workshop, and I'm just gonna tell you straight up, we're on a whole another wavelength here at Unclo Media. I am sick and tired of small business owners going out of business because they wasn't clear.
Audria Richmond®:I'm sick of small business owners not being, for sure about what they're focused on and what they're doing. So we're gonna put a stop to it. We're gonna help you really build a dope uncloned brand so you could become the obvious choice of your industry. One of the things that we introduced, at the 2025 annual planning workshop is our brand new assessment, And it's really not brand new, it's rebooted. Right?
Audria Richmond®:So 6 years ago, I created the unclown brand assessment, and it was designed to show entrepreneurs where they were stuck at as it relates to building their brand. And at the time, that process was extremely manual. You would have to print out the workbook. You would have to, take the assessment and then manually tally up your score. Well, with the new software and new technology that we're using now, we're able to automate that process as well as automate a PDF report that breaks down and cuss you get a customized report based on your assessment.

Audria Richmond®:Okay. So I wanna get into some lead generation ideas for you just so you can know, like, okay, Audria. You saying I need to prioritize lead generation. Okay. Okay.
Audria Richmond®:Okay. I'm going to do it, but what should I be doing if I'm gonna be generating leads? Right? So number 1, the first way to generate leads at the easiest level is to actually make a social media post and ask people to DM you or send you a text message or call you. Those that's probably the easiest low tech, no technology required, no money spent that you need to do.
Audria Richmond®:You could just make a post that's compelling and then when you get to the end of the post, give a call to action to call you, DM you, text you, send you an email, whatever makes sense for you and your brand. But that is probably one of the low cost, easy, effective ways to get a lead today. Right? And when we talk about a lead, we're talking about someone who is expressing interest. Meaning, they're raising their hand and they're saying, hey.
Audria Richmond®:I'm interested in what you're talking about. What do I need to do? Right? And so that's what we're are referencing as a lead. Alright?
Audria Richmond®:The next thing you could do to generate leads is to create events. Right? Events is a great way to gather a group of people at one time and get them to be involved and excited about your workshop or your content. So our 2025 annual planning workshop was actually, you know, a launch for us. We generated leads.
Audria Richmond®:We added almost 400 new people to our email list. And so had I not did that workshop, 400 new people wouldn't know about me. Right? And so that's why we launch. That's why we do marketing events, AKA lunch styles, registered trademarks, just wanna let y'all know.
Audria Richmond®:And so when you're thinking through that, you really wanna think about, like, okay, Can I put together, like, a little workshop or a little mini event or something like that? Right? That's one way you could go one to many with your lead generation. And then the next thing you could do is actually give away something. So most people call this a freebie, a lead magnet, something that you create in exchange for contact information.
Audria Richmond®:So for an example, with our uncloned brand score, when you take that assessment, basically, you gotta opt in. Right? That's how we build our list. You opt in, you take the assessment, and on the thank you page, each page is different based on the person. And so your you know, once you get to that thank you page, you get this beautiful PDF that breaks down what you should be focused on, and we're gonna give you a call to help you debrief and make the best recommendation for you and your brand.
Audria Richmond®:Right? And so that's our way. That's our free lead magnet to generate leads, but it's also going to be a tool that we utilize in our business to help our clients easily identify where they should be being where they should be focused. So when you think about a lead magnet for your brand, what is something that you can create that would allow you to attract the best people? Because this is the thing.
Audria Richmond®:You don't want your lead magnet to be average or basic. And so our lead magnet is about you getting clear and you being honest for us to be able to help you. And so to us, that's a very premium, high quality lead magnet, and a lot of people have already been saying like, hey, Audrea. You're not charging for this. As of now, we're not charging for it.
Audria Richmond®:I can't say we won't charge for it in the future, but right now, I just I really want people to know where they should be focusing their attention at and how we can help them. Alright? So number 3 was lead magnets. Alright? Something you could give away for free to generate a lead.
Audria Richmond®:The next thing you could do is paid advertising. And so paid advertising is really about you putting you could take that lead magnet and then amplify it with paid advertising. And so paid advertising don't always mean Facebook ads or Instagram ads. Pretty much every platform allows you to run ads. So TikTok allows you to run ads.
Audria Richmond®:YouTube allow you to run ads. Pretty much every social media platform allows you to run ads. So don't be afraid to use advertising to amplify your free workshops and events and lunches or to use it to generate leads for your lead magnets. I've off I've I have also ran ads to tell people to DM me or text me or call me, so don't feel like you even need to create a lead magnet. You can literally make a compelling post and just be like, hey.
Audria Richmond®:If this sounds like something you're interested in, give us a call or send a text message to x y z. So you ain't even gotta send them to a website. You can keep them on the platform and generate that lead. Now one of the things that we do when we tell people to DM us or whatever the case may be, normally when we tell people to DM us, text us, or whatever, if we don't know, we we collect information immediately. So what we do is, let's say you send us a text message.
Audria Richmond®:The first thing we ask you is we obviously already have your phone number, right, because you text us. But as soon as you send a text message to us, we always ask, what is your name and email before we get started? That way, we have now turned that text message into a lead. So I hope that gives you clarity. Also, where are you gonna be putting these leads?
Audria Richmond®:Right? So we use, several tools. Our primary tool is Kartra, and that's our CRM. And so at any given time, we could literally look up a person's profile and see everything they ever engage with with our brand. Have they ever been to any lunches?
Audria Richmond®:Have they ever purchased any books? Like, we have that data, and so that data allows us to know how to navigate the conversation with the client. And so hopefully that that makes sense for you all. Alright? The next thing you could do is develop a referral program.
Audria Richmond®:Right? I wish more people had referral programs to be honest because I'd be sending people so much business and so many clients and customers, and sometimes they don't even be hitting your girl back with a little thank you, a a flower, nothing. So, I think when you have a referral program and you reward those people who are advocating for your brand and telling people about your brand, that makes that incentivizes people to be like, okay. Cool. I wanna keep talking about this person.
Audria Richmond®:I wanna keep talking about their brand. And so when you have a referral program, it makes it easier for people to just go out and refer. Now some people just gonna refer you business just because they absolutely love you and they don't want anything. But some people would, send you more business if they even knew they would be incentivized, and so that's why we would do that. Right?
Audria Richmond®:And so that's one way you could generate new leads. Another way to generate leads is to run a contest or a giveaway for something. And so whenever if you are gonna do a contest or a giveaway, do it for something you actually sell. That way, you're not attracting a bunch of random people who wanna win some free. So an example of this would be like instead of giving away an iPad, I might give away a VIP day would be.
Audria Richmond®:Right? Because the only people who want a VIP day with me is is someone who actually want to build a brand. They wanna get better with their offers. They wanna, you know, get help with their lunches, things like that. Or I could give away a course or a book or something that we sell that will allow us to attract our we can still attract our target audience.
Audria Richmond®:So hopefully that makes sense. Another way to generate leads is by creating a loyalty or, rewards program. That's a really cool way, to generate leads if you wanna incentivize people by, you know, rewarding people who continue to do business with you, continue to do things with you. Another thing that you could do is start pitching people on LinkedIn, decision makers, and talking to those people and getting them on your calendar and maybe even doing some coffee chats. So I'm not going to bore you to death.
Audria Richmond®:There's 100 and thousands of ways to generate leads, but hopefully hopefully, this got your juices flowing because every single day, I want you to be generating leads. You should be addicted to this process. Meaning, every single day you should be like, okay, I got 10 leads a day, I got 15 leads a day. Okay. Of the 15, how many people actually booked a call with me?
Audria Richmond®:Of the people that booked a call, how many people bought a service? Even if you're not doing a call, can you do a workshop? Right? You know? So when you're generating leads, maybe every single week you do a workshop.
Audria Richmond®:So think of something cool that you can do that gets you right in front of your ideal audience and make people raise their hand. At this point in time in my career, especially after doing this for 10 years, I could care less about a follower. If somebody wants to follow me, that's fine, but what we're about to spend a lot of time on is our community and our email list. And so if people aren't tapped into those things, they're probably gonna miss out on a lot of different opportunities because there's a lot of people who don't wanna get on your email list. They don't wanna be, you know, marketed to, but they wanna benefit by being connected to you and having access to you.
Audria Richmond®:And so we're about to really change the game on some things. Like, even with our 2025 annual planning workshop, we we tried a a lot of new marketing strategies. And the cool thing about us here at Unclaimed Media, we're always trying new things. We're always looking for the thing that works. We're always looking for the thing that moves the needle.
Audria Richmond®:What's the most innovative, creative thing that we can do to grow our brands and businesses? And we teach that to our clients. And so I really do hope that you got some value from today's audio newsletter around developing leads for your business. That way you're not, you know, waking up every day wondering where your next, meal gonna come from. It I I can't really explain how amazing it feels to know that, like, okay, I got a calendar and 100 of people wanna talk to me.
Audria Richmond®:Right? They wanna talk to me, they wanna learn about our brand, they wanna learn about our company, we're gonna help them grow their business and their brand. And so I just want you all to prioritize lead generation, because if you're not generating leads, why are you on social media? Like, you know, I use social media to grow my business. I'm not on social media to become popular and cool.
Audria Richmond®:I am cool and popular because I do dope shit. And so when you think about your brand and your business, what do you wanna be known for? That's something I ask all my clients, especially my private clients, like, what do you want to be known for? Because whatever you wanna be known for, if I come to your page, is that evident that you wanna be known for that?
