3 Marketing Strategies That Are Still Working in 2024

Audria Richmond®:What's up? What's up? What's up? Happy Monday. This is going to be a quick audio newsletter because I'm gonna talk about what's still working in 2024 from a marketing perspective.
Audria Richmond®:I'm gonna give you 3 strategies. Right? Three things that are still working. Now just because I'm gonna tell you quickly does not mean they are quick to implement. 2 of them are, and one of them is a little bit more work on your part, but it's very impactful.
Audria Richmond®:Okay? Now as we head into the Q3 of the year, right, I only wanna talk about these strategies because I feel like in your business, you could be doing a lot of things. And if you're not tracking where the sales are coming from, then how you supposed to know what's working. Right? And so if you're like, oh, I made $10,000 this month, then where did you get to 10,000?
Audria Richmond®:Did it come from you networking? Did it come from you speaking? Where did it come from? Because sometimes you could get busy doing a lot of things in your business that do not drive revenue. Right?
Audria Richmond®:And it's one of the reasons why I kinda scaled back on creating, like, a lot of reels and things like that because it just wasn't driving a needle. And so today, I wanna talk about and I'm not saying that you should abort these strategies. I'm just saying that the strategies that you prioritize, you should be able to say, I did that thing. I know for a fact I got money from this thing because I was properly tracking. And so it's very hard to know what's working with your marketing when you're not actually tracking it.
Audria Richmond®:Alright? So the 3 marketing strategies that are still working in 2024 that I'm about to share with you, I can tell you down to the strategy step by step exactly what went down, exactly what I said, and how that revenue was driven. Right? So the the first strategy is live streaming. Now and let me also say this, some of these strategies may not seem like, you know, super high-tech.
Audria Richmond®:One of them is, but 2 of them may not seem like, you know, this big idea. But let me just say this, how many of you all are actually picking up your phone, hitting the live button, and asking for the sale? That's probably the component of live streaming that I see a lot of people avoid. For some reason, when people go live, they don't ask for the sale. Why?
Audria Richmond®:I have no idea. Now keep in mind, when you are going live, you have a captive audience. Meaning, they are there. They clicked on your video. They saw you was live.
Audria Richmond®:They clicked on your video, and they are there with you. Spend time with them. Answer their questions. Give them something valuable. Teach them something new.
Audria Richmond®:Improve their day somehow. Okay? Because if someone takes time out of their busy day to press your face on the profile, like, if you're on Instagram, they click your little face because it's posting red that you are live, you need to understand the value in that. Because one thing that is, you know, that people are giving you is their time, and they can't get that back. So if they give you their time, please make it worthwhile.
Audria Richmond®:Live streaming still works y'all. It really, really does. And, if you're inside the launch circle, we got an entire training on how to live stream. Alright? Now, virtual events.
Audria Richmond®:Okay? Now, virtual events can vary. You can do all type of events. Okay? You can do webinars whether it's live or automated, workshops, challenges, intensives, accelerators.
Audria Richmond®:It doesn't really matter the type of virtual event. The fact is you're hosting an event and you're bringing people together to inform them about yourself, your brand, you're adding value to them, and you are making an offer, AKA you're asking for the sale. So virtual events, that's number 2. And then number 3 is text message marketing. So not in the way that you would think that I'm talking about.
Audria Richmond®:I'm I'm more so talking about inbound text marketing. So outbound text marketing is somebody got on my list and I'm sending them a text message and I'm like, hey, I'm doing this thing. Come check it out. Right? I'm not talking about that type of text messaging.
Audria Richmond®:The type of text messaging I'm talking about is about putting your phone number. Right? A business phone number. We use Grasshopper, but having some kind of phone number that people can text. Right?
Audria Richmond®:And and get an immediate response and be able to conversate with people in real time. So let me give an example of what this looks like. We will you know, I'll say something like for instance, I did a live stream this past week, and, basically, I was like, hey. If you wanna join the lunch circle, send us a text message to 404-965-4113. This is what it cost.
Audria Richmond®:I told them on the lot. This is what it cost. This this is what you're going to get. I even did, like, a quick little demo on livestream, and we got a new client. Right?
Audria Richmond®:So that's inbound text message because I'm telling them to text me, not me, text them. Hopefully, that makes sense. So the 3 strategies is number 1, going live. It doesn't matter where you go live. Like, we've been going live more on YouTube because when we're done with that live video, that video can live on forever due to the SEO on YouTube and keyword search and so on and so forth.
Audria Richmond®:But you can very well we still go live on Instagram. You can still go live on LinkedIn, YouTube. I mean, not YouTube, but Facebook. There's there every platform pretty much have a live streaming feature, so you could totally take advantage of that. Virtual events, that's probably gonna be the hardest one of the 3 because you do have to set a date and set it up and all of that.
Audria Richmond®:We teach how to do, virtual events inside of the uncloned lunch circle. So if you're a member, just log in, go to the online event lunch style or the offline event lunch style and and dive in. We give you everything you need to know to host a virtual online event or an offline event. And then text message marketing. Right?
Audria Richmond®:So having people and we're more so talking about inbound text messaging. Having people send you a text message, and you make sure that when people text you, you as soon as they text you, you wanna say, hey. Thanks so much for reaching out. They're gonna tell you what they want when they text you because you told them what to tell you. And so when you respond back to them, you're gonna say, hey.
Audria Richmond®:Thank you so much for reaching out. Before we, you know, continue the conversation, can you provide us with your name and email? Right? Because you don't know who this is. This is a phone number.
Audria Richmond®:And so to give you that information and then you engage in the conversation. Why would you do that? Because sometimes people would text and they disengage for whatever reason or they'll come back or whatever the case may be. By you asking for their name and email, it gives you another touch point for follow-up. That's why we do that.
Audria Richmond®:So those are the 3 marketing strategies that are still working in 2024. I wanted to keep this audio newsletter very brief so we can get to the money. Alright?
